Can I upload existing recommendations?
Not at this time. If you wish to include recommendations from colleagues or past employers on your Hired profile, you must request them from the Hired platform. To do so, log in to your Hired profile and visit your Profile tab. Scroll to the bottom to find the Request Recommendations option under Add Additional Profile Sections and select.
Or, if you have existing recommendations on your LinkedIn/personal website, add the link by visiting your Profile tab and selecting the fourth pencil icon from the top. Our companies often reference the external sites you add to learn more about you.
Can I resend a recommendation request?
You may only send a recommendation request to a given email once. This rule is in place to protect non-Hired users from being spammed.
However, if the recommender did not receive the email request and it therefore must be resent, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make an exception and override.
Can I delete outdated recommendations?
Not from your end. Instead, email email@example.com with the name of the writer and request the recommendation be deleted. We'll then delete it for you.
