Why am I being asked for my base salary?
Sales is a brand new vertical for Hired. Until recently, our focus had been tech talent. As a result, the base salary field is carried over from the profile layout designed for tech talent. We ask that you complete the field in addition to listing your OTE.
Will companies consider my OTE as well?
Yes. When creating a Sales specific position on the Hired platform, companies must set an OTE for the role in addition to a base salary. Additionally, the interview request they send will list both figures.
